Social Activities

On 2nd of April, Architecture and Interior design department participate by an exhibition organized by (Mr.Ahmad nareeman & Mrs. Siba Kady with research assistants and students), for their talented students work, the exhibition was opened by minister of higher education Dr.Yousif Goran, president of Tishk International university & head of board of trusties Dr.Edris Hadi and Dan of Engineering Fuculty Dr.Halit Vural with heads of interior and architecture department. They were delighted to show their students' fantastic works to the special guests and visitors which in turn were very happy and proud to see the students design. [...]

On November the 7th 2018, Mr. Madyan Maher organized a lunch inside Tishk International university, for the staff of Interior Design Department and other academics of Tishk International University. The event was a friendly gesture, to gather the academics and celebrate Madyan Maher's new academic title (Assistant Lecturer), aiming to break the routine of the long working hours. The academics gathered in the staff restaurant of the main building of Tishk International University at lunch break. They enjoyed their oriental food and humorous talks for around an hour before they headed back to their individual tasks after a memorable lunch.  

As a part of Social and departmental activities, Interior Design department prepared a breakfast for the staff with Architecture department on June 20, 2018,  we had a great time full of enjoying, that kind of activities gives us more energy and ability to be positive and active inside the classes and during the working hours.

Dean of student-organized an Iftar for Tishk International University students as a continues series of social activities in our University which was sponsored by Haji Idris charity foundation sponsored and for 50 students of our department in Abu Shahab City Restaurant. Tishk International University organized the 5th commemoration of Thanks to Martyrs which has been held on February 28, 2018, in Saad Abdullah Hall. In order to commemorate those who had been martyred by chemical bombing in Halabja, Anfal, uprising, and the recent terrorist group of ISIS. The aim of the program was to show loyalty and gratitude to the martyr’s family for what they have been through and remember the breviary of our martyrs and peshmarga’s to the new generation.
