On the date of 16th Dec. 2018, a staff member from Interior Design Engineering Dept. delivered a seminar in her Department at Tishk International University, under the title “Epoxy Coating”. The seminar presented by Ms. Farah Maysan (Research Assistant) in Interior Design Department in Tishk International University. In this presentation, the definition of epoxy material was discussed and the different applications of Epoxy material where shown spatially for flooring inside buildings, as well as the application process, advantages and disadvantages of Epoxy Material where discussed during the seminar. The seminar was attended by TIU staff from both Architecture and Interior design Departments.

On the date of 4th Dec. 2018, Dr. hassan Hassoon ALDelfi, Assoc. Professor in the Interior Design Department in Tishk International Uuniversity held a seminar titled “ My 30000 Km Journey The Objectives And The Outcomes” In his presentations, Dr. Hassoon divided his speech in two chapters the first chapter was directed to his research paper titled ( The Dynamic Simulation For sustainable Transportation Systems) and the conclusive remarks of his achievement of the derived model on sustainability and the links between the five modes of transportation. On 6th Oct. 2018, International Conference on Sustainable Environment and Agriculture (ICSEA 2018) was held in San Diego, USA during October 29-31, 2018. It is an international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Sustainable Environment and Agriculture. It also serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Sustainable Environment and Agriculture related techniques. On 29 Oct. 2018, a seminar was held in Tishk International University, main building by a representative of a foreign company to introduce a software program that they improved for Architecture and design issues. is a cross-platform application offering easy to use, explorable, cost-efficient, and portable VR solutions tailored for spatial design students, instructors, and professionals. On 25th of October 2018, the lecturer of Furniture Design Course in Tishk International University, Mr. Ahmed Nariman and assistant Ms. Hazhin Nasih, took the fourth stage students to the (Archisketch and Luxury) Factories in the south industrial area in Erbil city. During the trip the students were led around the first factory to observe the working mechanism of the machines, and to see the results on the materials those come out from the machines. Interior Design Department (fourth grade students) in Tishk International University gathered to go for a scientific trip organized by the university to Shar, Sardam and Zanko private hospitals in Erbil city . The trip organised on 24th of October 2018 as a part of the scientific activities that relate to the Interior Design Studio Vl which is given by Mrs. Nazik Jamal (lecturer) and Ms Hazhin Nasih (assistant). On 21st of October 2018, the lecturer of Local Historical spaces Mrs. Shno Abdullah and assistant Ms Shaymaa Abubakir, took the third stage students of Interior Department in Tishk International University to the Citadel of Erbil city. one buss was provided by the university to transport. During the trip the students were led around the citadel to observe the general theme of the place, while analyzing several aspects of the design elements, including zoning, circulation, activities and shading by visiting  two museums inside the citadel,  an old bath, two historical houses and a historical mosque. As an activity of interior design department start Lumion training course for student of the Forth stage of the interior design department on January 14, 2018 which that to help student to improve their skill with presenting their landscape design  projects in a better way, the course presented by Mr.Shallaw Hamza (assistant) in room (213), the workshop contains, installing of the program and explain all orders in interface of the program and how to using it  in a professional way model,  at the end of student were able to made their Visualisation and animation for their landscape design projects.
