The seminar which took place on the 29th Nov. 2016 highlighted the fundamentals and terminologies being used in room acoustics. The sound pressure, sound power and sound intensity have been defined with examples, the sound pressure levels, sound power levels as logarithmic relations have been derived as values measured in dB.  The loudness, sound criteria NC and sound rating NR curves have also all been discussed together with their applications in various places. The event will be held by Najat Khatat, one of the best calligraphers in Erbil. As an activate of interior design department start workshop for 3D Max studio program & Vray plugin for student of the third stage of the interior design department, which that to help student to improve their skills with 3D programs and visualization, the workshop presented by Mr. Ahmad Jabbar (assistant) Mrs. Tara Faqi Ahmad (assistant)  in room (212), the workshop contains, installing of the program and explain all orders in interface of the program and how to using in easy way, at the end of workshop student will be able to visualize their design in 3D model with 3D Max & Vray program. At September, 11,2016 3rd stage of interior design department make a scientific trip to Historical Erbil Castile as a requirement of Local Historical Spaces course, to make redesign for historical place in Erbil castle like Historic bath, mosque, and Xan and documenting place by drawing sketch with taking dimension for spaces with taking picture and mention of main material and details that used on wall, main gate, After that visiting the museum to see pattern in old carpet and the completion of color that use. As a requirement of Interior Design Studio III course to design T-Shirt for Tishk International University as Proposal to be specified T-Shirt in Tishk International University student, Which is given by Mr. Havel Sami, Mr. Ahmad Jabbar and Mrs. Tara Faqi Ahmad. The student submits their design on October, 27.2016, Student use adobe Photoshop to present their design with some sketches.

Second grade students of the Interior Design Department prepared a scientific trip to the Library to redesigning for interior as their design need on October  27,2016 as a part of scientific activities that relates to the Design Studio course which is given by Mrs. Siba Kady (lecturer) Mr. Shallaw Hamza (assistant) and Mrs. Lana Mohammed (assistant). The students arrived the Library at 10:30 A.M draw, sketch plan for the library and took dimension and write their notes for redesigning the interior, the students are learned on this trip how to draw a sketch plan in place and write notes about details. Interior Design Department (First grade students) prepared a scientific trip to Mnara park on Wednesday 11-5-2016 as a part of scientific activities that relates to the freehand drawings II course which is given by Mrs Siba Kady (lecturer) and Mrs.Lana Mohammed (assistant). the students arrived the park at 11:30 A.M and took their places to draw the old beautiful minaret , they used for the drawings pencil and pastel colors , the students are learned in this trip how to draw a real scene.  

Interior Design Department (second grade students) prepared a scientific trip To Jalil Alkhayat Mosque on Tuesday 26-4-2016 as a part of Scientific activities that relates to the Interior Design Department (History of Interior Design II) course which is given by Miss Soma Kareem(lecturer). Mrs Siba Nazem Kady(Head of Interior Design Department) attend the trip as well as to the students.
