On 21th October, 2021 the Fourth stage of Interior Design Department made a Site visit to Balsam Hospital with the supervision of Dr. Oday, Mr.Shwan , Ms. Shaymaa and Ms. Sara , In order to have an Insight about Healthcare Interior Design.
On 20th October 2021 third-stage students of the Interior Design Department participated in a site visit to retail stores and outlets under the supervision of Mr. Nawzad, Mr. Suleiman, Ms. Merve, Ms. Sana, Ms. Sara, Ms. Aysha. The aim of the trip was to gather information about retail stores' interior design and to discover what must be taken into account prior to developing a design for a retail store.
On 20th October 2021, fourth-stage students of the Interior Design Department participated in a visit to Cambridge International School. The visit was organized under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed, Ms. Shaymaa, and Ms. Sara. The aim of the visit was to collect data about the site to help redesign the school landscape.
on 23rd of June ,2021 a workshop under the title "Photoshop for Beginners" was held by the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering in LAB (235) Main Building. the workshop was presented by : Ms. Sanar Sardar Ms. Sana Basil Ms. Merve Taha The aim of the workshop was to introduce the program and show what they can do with this program, especially architects and interior designers, showing them the function of the most frequently used toolbars as well. On 09.03.2021 Tishk International University, Faculty of Engineering organized a field trip for students in Interior Design department to Slava city estate project located on Masif road. The aim of this field trip is to practice the theories that they studied during the lecturers of the technical foundation for interior design course offered in third grade supervised by Mr.sulaiman mustafa and ms. Shaymaa Abubakir. On 09.03.2021 Tishk International University, Faculty of Engineering organized a field trip for students in Interior Design department to Empire estate project located on 100m Road. The aim of this field trip is to practice the theories that they studied during the lecturers of the photography course offered in second grade supervised by Ms. Shino Abdullah, Ms. Sanar Sardar and Ms. Shaymaa Jalil.During the trip students tried to apply the theoretical studies into real photo shoots and capture photos that subjected to the aim of the assignment.
On 12.02.2021 Tishk International University, Interior Design department organized a Site-visit to Brayaty kindergarten with second grade students to take the sample as similar project of their Design Studio III project. The visit was supervised by the second-grade lecturer Mrs. Siba Kady, Mr. Dlman Aziz and the research assistants Ms. Lujain Ahmed, Ms. Sara Hadi and Ms. Amna Nasir.
On November 12th, 2020, Ms. Sara Ardalan and Ms. Lujain Ahmed, Research Assistants at the department of Interior Design Engineering, presented a workshop in Studio 525 of the main building of Tishk International University on “Blue Print”, which is about working drawing sets and how to present 2D drawings of a project. The workshop consisted of two parts, the first part was theoretical and the subject was explained through a PowerPoint presentation , the next part was practical, the subject was practiced with the students.
On 13th of January Interior Design Department with Corporation with the Dean of Student Organized a welcoming Event for the First Stage Student in order to meet the staff and get Introduced to the University Activities.
