On 12.02.2021 Tishk International University, Interior Design department organized a Site-visit to Brayaty kindergarten with second grade students to take the sample as similar project of their Design Studio III project. The visit was supervised by the second-grade lecturer Mrs. Siba Kady, Mr. Dlman Aziz and the research assistants Ms. Lujain Ahmed, Ms. Sara Hadi and Ms. Amna Nasir.
On November 12th, 2020, Ms. Sara Ardalan and Ms. Lujain Ahmed, Research Assistants at the department of Interior Design Engineering, presented a workshop in Studio 525 of the main building of Tishk International University on “Blue Print”, which is about working drawing sets and how to present 2D drawings of a project. The workshop consisted of two parts, the first part was theoretical and the subject was explained through a PowerPoint presentation , the next part was practical, the subject was practiced with the students.
On 13th of January Interior Design Department with Corporation with the Dean of Student Organized a welcoming Event for the First Stage Student in order to meet the staff and get Introduced to the University Activities.
On December : 24th, 2020, Research Assistants (Ms. Shayma Jalil , Ms. Shayma Abubakir , Ms. Sara Ardalan , Ms. Lujain Ahmed and Ms. Sara Hadi) at the department of Interior Design Engineering , Organized a workshop in Studio 524 of the main building of Tishk International University on “Preparing Design working Drawing set” for the second stage Interior Design Students in order to strengthen their ability in how to organize their design drawing set and at the end of the workshop every student’s question about their 2D Drawings was Answered.
On 22nd of February 2021, Tishk International University, Faculty of Engineering organized a field trip for students of the Interior Design Department to the STAR towers Project located in Bakhtiary, Erbil. The field trip contributed to enhancing the practical aspects of the students' specialization before stepping towards the professional world as Interior Designers. The visitation is also beneficial for the students’ redesign project in the Professional Practice Course supervised by Ms. Stran Star. The Interior Design Department (fourth-grade students) of Tishk International University attended a scientific trip organized by the university to Zanko Private Hospitals in Erbil, as part of the scientific activities that relate to the Interior Design Studio Vl course, which is given by Mr.Haval Sami (lecturer) and Ms. Hazhin Nasih (assistant). On November 4-5, 2019, Tishk International University in collaboration with University of Technology/Baghdad organized the 2nd international conference on architecture and interior design under the theme of “Identity: Tradition and Innovation”. The opening ceremony was held at the beginning of day 1, by Dr. Idris Hadi (President of Tishk International University), in which he explained the Tishk International University system, the big jump of Tishk International University Ranking both nationally and internationally as well as the future Tishk International University plans.
