Tishk International University has organized (ICAD2021) an International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design in collaboration with the University of Technology of Baghdad, under the theme of "Education and Practice in Architecture". The conference will be held on 9th -10th November 2021. The conference includes a two days workshop about Research Methodology for Architecture and Interior Design,  directed by Dr. Afroz Ahmad Shah. Students are urged to participate on both days of the conference. A certificate will be given to paid participants.

On 21th October, 2021 the Fourth stage of Interior Design Department made a Site visit to Balsam Hospital with the supervision of Dr. Oday, Mr.Shwan , Ms. Shaymaa and Ms. Sara , In order to have an Insight about Healthcare Interior Design.  

On 20th October 2021 third-stage students of the Interior Design Department participated in a site visit to retail stores and outlets under the supervision of Mr. Nawzad, Mr. Suleiman, Ms. Merve, Ms. Sana, Ms. Sara, Ms. Aysha. The aim of the trip was to gather information about retail stores' interior design and to discover what must be taken into account prior to developing a design for a retail store.  

On 20th October 2021, fourth-stage students of the Interior Design Department participated in a visit to Cambridge International School. The visit was organized under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed, Ms. Shaymaa, and Ms. Sara. The aim of the visit was to collect data about the site to help redesign the school landscape.
