On 3rd of July both Architecture and interior design Department together had a breakfast at (Saj-al reef restaurant), the whole staff spent unforgettable time and enjoy the breakfast together.

The Interior Design Department (second grade students) of Tishk International University attended a scientific trip organized by the University to Cambridge School in Erbil, as a part of the scientific activities that relate to the Interior Design Studio II course, taught by Mrs. Siba Kady, Lecturer, and assistants: Ms Noor,Ms Laylan, Ms Safa. The staff welcomed the group of students and were very cooperative with TIU's staff and students. On the date of 23rd May 2019, Mr. Haval Sami, a lecturer and head of Interior Design Dept. presented a seminar in his Department at Tishk International Uiversity, under the title of  “Symbols in Architecture”. The seminar illustrated some symbols that used in designs and their means, there are many symbols used in design from local cultures. The seminar was attended by Interior design Department staff.

Tishk International University held the 5th National Innovations Competition in Engineering (NICE2019) on May 05, 2019, under the theme of “Targeting Smart Sustainable Innovations.” Dr Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University, Deans, and Heads of Departments of the universities that participated honoured the Hosts with their presence. Interior Design Department (third-grade students) in Tishk International  University gathered to go for a scientific trip organized by the university to Gunjan City in Erbil city. The trip organized on 26th of February 2019 as a part of the scientific activities that relate to the Interior Design Studio which is given by Mrs Vyan Sabr (lecturer) and Ms Shaima  Abubakir (assistant).
