The Head of Erbil Municipality, Mr. Karzan Abdulhadi Taha, has expressed his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to the Head of the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University, Mr. Dlman Aziz, and Assistant Lecturer Mrs.Zaynab Azad for their outstanding efforts and professional dedication.

Their remarkable work on the project to introduce a dedicated bicycling road in Sami Abdulrahman Park in Erbil reflects a strong commitment to sustainable urban development and community well-being. This initiative not only enhances the aesthetic and functional value of one of the city’s most important public parks but also promotes healthier lifestyles by encouraging cycling and physical activity among citizens.

The project demonstrates the important role that academic institutions play in supporting community development through innovative design solutions. By integrating thoughtful planning with sustainability principles, the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University has contributed meaningfully to improving public infrastructure and environmental quality in Erbil.
