The workshop was held at Hall 524, Main Building, Tishk International University (TIU) Campus, where the Department of Interior Design organized a national workshop titled “Interior Design Visualization: Lighting and Rendering.” The event was presented by Eng. Muhammed Sabir, owner of MS Studio, a firm specializing in engineering and visualization, and aimed to enhance participants’ technical and professional skills in interior design visualization.
The workshop focused on advanced lighting and rendering techniques using Corona Renderer in Autodesk 3ds Max, emphasizing industry-standard methods for producing photorealistic interior and architectural visuals. Key topics included Corona Light, Corona Sun, and Corona Sky systems, HDRI lighting, IES profiles, and effective approaches to balancing natural and artificial light. The session combined theoretical explanations with hands-on practical exercises, enabling participants to apply the learned techniques directly during the workshop.
The event attracted Engineering Faculty students and academic staff, along with students and professional engineers from outside Tishk International University, reflecting strong interest in visualization technologies across the design and engineering fields. All necessary software files and project materials were provided, creating an interactive and practice-oriented learning environment.
This workshop formed part of TIU’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the connection between academic education and professional practice, while supporting skill development, innovation, and academic excellence in interior design, architecture, and engineering disciplines.
