On May 20, 2025, the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a national workshop titled “Chinese Cultural Tour Program.” The event was rich with cultural activities that offered participants a deep dive into Chinese traditions and heritage.
Attendees engaged in a variety of activities, including:
- Chinese Calligraphy: Learning the artistic and symbolic aspects of the writing system.
- Traditional Chinese Clothing: Trying on various garments and understanding their cultural meanings.
- Kung Fu Demonstration: An exciting showcase of the discipline and philosophy behind the martial art.
Adding to the significance of the workshop, two teachers from the Chinese Department at Salahaddin University were present as guest speakers, sharing their knowledge and presenting key aspects of Chinese culture. The workshop also featured detailed information about scholarship programs in China, opening doors for students interested in pursuing further studies abroad. The event successfully combined cultural appreciation with educational opportunities, making it a memorable and inspiring experience for all participants.
