Tishk International University (TIU) proudly hosted the 8th International Festival of Language, Culture, and Science on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, under the inspiring theme “Diversity is Our Strength, Unity is Our Power.” The Department of Interior Design Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, was honored to take part in this remarkable event through two vibrant and educational tents: the Chinese Culture Tent and the Scientific Tent.

The Chinese Culture Tent was a true gateway to tradition, where guests were warmly invited to immerse themselves in the beauty of Chinese heritage—watching captivating performances, enjoying traditional music, trying out intricate calligraphy, crafting paper cuttings and lanterns, sampling authentic cuisine, and even dressing in traditional attire. It was a lively and enriching space where cultures connected through hands-on experience and genuine curiosity.

In contrast yet equally engaging, the Scientific Tent offered a vision of the future, showcasing the powerful intersection of design, science, and technology. Through interactive displays focused on sustainability, futuristic interior concepts, and green innovation, visitors were inspired to reflect on the evolving role of science in shaping the spaces we live in. Experts were on hand, eager to share insights and spark meaningful conversations.

As the spring blossoms danced in the breeze and laughter filled the air, the entire campus pulsed with energy and togetherness. This festival was more than an event—it was a testament to the power of unity in diversity, and the boundless creativity that emerges when we come together.
