On December 17, the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a special orientation for first-year students to welcome them and introduce them to university life. The event was honored by the presence of the University President, Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, who delivered a speech highlighting the university’s vision and commitment to academic excellence.
Also in attendance were the Dean of the Engineering Faculty, Dr. Jean Jalal, the Vice Dean, Dr. Safwan Mawlud, and the Head of the Interior Design Department, Mr. Dlman Aziz. Each of them gave insightful speeches to the new students, providing valuable information about Tishk International University, the faculty, and specifically the Interior Design program.
During the orientation, various materials and presentations were shown to help students better understand the department’s goals, expectations, and future opportunities. In addition, samples of student work, department facilities, and previous projects were displayed to give the newcomers a clear idea of what to expect and aspire to during their academic journey. The session was both informative and engaging, leaving students excited and motivated for the path ahead.
