On Wednesday 15th July 2019 at 10: 00 AM, Dr. Khalid Wooral, Dean of Engineering Faculty of TIU, had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Jasna Hivziefendic, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, IBU, and the Head of Information Technology Department, Dr. Zerina Masetic. The purpose of the meeting was to improve the collaboration between TIU and IBU, in terms of research, student exchange and staff. Tishk International International University and Erbil Polytechnic University hosted the 6th International Engineering Conference (IEC2020) on February 26-27, 2020. IEC2020 is technically sponsored by IEEE and IEEE Iraq Section. The conference aimed to disseminate research findings and provide a platform for scholars to debate and exchange ideas on developments in the field of engineering. IEEE Xplore Digital Library Database will index the accepted papers. The Faculty of Engineering of TIU had a visit from the University of Kurdistan-Hawler (UKH) on Thursday 1st January 2020. It was our pleasure to have them tour in our Engineering Labs. Dr. Soorkeu Atrooshi, acting Dean of School of Science and Engineering, visited Civil Engineering Laboratories, and discussed certain collaboration activities such as sharing labs.

Tishk International International University, (TIU) has signed a memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Field Ready Makers Space (Erbil section) on January 27,  2020.
