The workshop consisted of two sessions, separated by a fifteen-minute break. The workshop began with the first session delivered by Professor Dr. Abdulateef Jadallah. After raising the matter with the administration and obtaining their approval for the purchase of the device, an extended bidding process was initiated under the supervision of the Engineering Projects Department of the university. This process led to the selection of the supplier for a gas turbine trainer for the Aviation Engineering Department laboratories. Aviation Engineering is an active partner in the MOU between TIU and AUK On Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, during an online event, under the auspices of the presidents of both universities, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Tishk International University and the Australian University - Kuwait for academic partnership. A cornerstone of this agreement is the anticipated development of cooperation between the Aviation Engineering Department at TIU and the School of Aviation at AUK, including benchmarking, curriculum development, training, student exchange, and joint sustainable international cooperation. In a recent scientific excursion on December 18th, 2024, a group of students and academic staff from the Aviation and Mechatronic Engineering Departments at Tishk International University had the unique opportunity to visit Dukan Dam, a key infrastructure project in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. On December 9th, 2024, the academic staff and students from the Aviation Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) embarked on a scientific trip to Koya University in line with Sustainability Development Goal Seventeen (SDG 17).
