Head’s Message

Aviation Engineering Department was established in 2021 at Tishk International University to award a bachelor degree in aviation engineering. It is the newest department of the great Faculty of Engineering  and the second in Kurdistan Region and one of the few programs in the Region that awards a bachelor’s degree in aviation engineering.

Our mission is to prepare highly qualified and innovative engineers in the fields of design, construction, and operation of various aviation systems as well as aircraft maintenance. The Aviation Department is proud to offer a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically, creatively and collaborate with their peers, and pursue innovative solutions to real-world aviation challenges As well as to stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes

To achieve the program goals, a comprehensive study plan has been designed on the model of the most prestigious international universities with 240 ECTS that can be completed in four academic years. The study plan also includes hands-on training for a semester which can be taken at any approved aircraft maintenance company inside or outside Kurdistan Region.
