About Aviation
Aviation Engineering Department is an B.Sc program for four years, available to the graduators of high school. This program is used to prepare students for employment in the diverse field of Aviation specific to their desires and industry needs by providing with a solid educational foundation in the aviation engineering courses with the required practical trainings.
Mission & Vision
The Mission of the Aviation Engineering B.Sc. degree program is to prepare students for employment in the field of aviation engineering by educating them the fundamental knowledge and techniques to conduct the daily nitty-gritty routine service, be able to perform tests for troubleshooting, and professionally use latest instrumentation equipment in aviation.
Objectives
- Graduates will be competent in the domain of Aviation Engineering.
- Graduates will be capable to assess safety issues implementing, both, national and international regulatory bodies standard.
- Graduates will be vigilant about security issues and regulation that govern the domain of aviation.
- Graduates will have the ability to conduct necessary tests, measurements and analyses to land on right ethical decisions.
- Graduates will have the ability to be self-motivated for future progress and development.
Program Learning Outcome
The Aviation Engineering is quite new to this part of the world and one of the main goals of the department is to help building a good level graduates who can providing a competitive service to this lively industry and help to localize jobs and widen the scope and inspiration for the youngsters by providing such a field in engineering and services.
At the end of their study program, the students who graduate from this department will:
- Identify the fundamental principles of Airplane flight system and their operation.
- Analyze basics response of Airplane Avionics and instrumentation for quality performance and condition.
- Summarize the technical aspects of flight and aircraft systems and operation and demonstrate application of this knowledge in maintenance and services.
- Apply regulatory and legal criteria that impact the industry.
- Implement necessary procedures for Airport Avionics and communication systems.
- Implement and adhere to Airport logistics and security systems.
- Implement and adhere current applicable aviation regulations and Air Law
- Analyze business aspects and practices and their application to the aviation industry.
- Apply advanced economic technique for marketing aspects of the aviation industry
- Formulate the time importance and safety of flight service to adhere to local and international standards.
- Apply sound principle of business structure, management and administrative aspects of airlines, corporate flight operations and airport operations.
- Formulate the basics of national and international air space systems and the ability to operate within those systems.
