On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Aviation Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Tishk International University will host a national workshop entitled “Sustainable Aviation.” The workshop aims to highlight the integrated relationship between Sustainable Development Goals 1, 12, and 13, emphasizing efficient production through energy transition within a more resilient environment. It will focus on advancing innovation in sustainable materials in aviation and promoting harmony with nature as a forward-looking approach to engineering, covering the full process from design to production and operation. This event reflects the department’s commitment to supporting sustainable engineering practices and addressing current environmental challenges in the aviation sector.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Main Building, Ground Floor, Room 124 (next to the IT Main Office). It will be delivered by Dr. Soorkeu A. Atrooshi and Mr. Ahmed Amir Arsalan, who will share their expertise and insights on sustainable aviation and innovative engineering solutions.
