On 17th of May, Our department arranged a seminar for the students under the title “ Vertical Datum”, the seminar presented by Assist. Prof. Qubad Zeki Henari “Head of Department of Surveying and Geomatics Engineering”. the seminar was about, how the vertical datum is established, explaining the main three surface Topographic, Geoid and splendid, and how the mean sea level in determined using tide gauges.
The Students are able to realize the necessity of this topic in their practical live.
