The Surveying and Geomatics Department Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University will hold an International Workshop entitled “Math Tricks for Rapid Calculation“ on May 23rd, 2024.
Abstract and Objectives:
Early indications of calculations and the history of calculations in the past and present are explored in the workshop. It is possible to perform rapid calculations using a variety of magic maths and tricks, in addition to the tools, devices, and instruments that have been employed throughout history. Moreover, over thirty slides will be presented, each of which will introduce a novel concept that illustrates the rapid calculation technique and the mathematical operations’ procedures, such as multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, and logarithmic and trigonometric calculations.
The workshop includes the following sessions:
- 1st session: Introduction to Math Tricks
- 2nd session: How to perform Rapid Calculation
The workshop will be presented by
