Tishk International International University and Erbil Polytechnic University hosted the 6th International Engineering Conference (IEC2020) on February 26-27, 2020. IEC2020 is technically sponsored by IEEE and IEEE Iraq Section. The conference aimed to disseminate research findings and provide a platform for scholars to debate and exchange ideas on developments in the field of engineering. IEEE Xplore Digital Library Database will index the accepted papers. The Faculty of Engineering of TIU had a visit from the University of Kurdistan-Hawler (UKH) on Thursday 1st January 2020. It was our pleasure to have them tour in our Engineering Labs. Dr. Soorkeu Atrooshi, acting Dean of School of Science and Engineering, visited Civil Engineering Laboratories, and discussed certain collaboration activities such as sharing labs.

The Faculty of Engineering organized a general meeting for all full-time members of the faculty, under the theme of “Fresh Start for Spring Semester of the Academic 2019-2020”, which was presented by Dr. Halit Vural, Dean of Faculty of Engineering.The assembly was held on February 3rd, 2020, in the main building, Room 302, at 3:00 PM, and all head of engineering departments, alongside full-time lecturers and assistants attended.
