National Workshop: Aviation and SDG 13 Climate Action

The Aviation Engineering Department  Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organized its first National Workshop for the academic year 25/26 on Wednesday. Nov. 26, 2025, presented by Professor Abdullateef Jadallah and Dr Soorkeu A. Atrooshi.  Through this event, the participants explored how innovations such as lighter materials, improved aerodynamic designs, and sustainable maintenance strategies can lower aviation’s environmental footprint. Community Project: Introductory to Aviation Engineering for 12th Grade Students

On September 17th, 2025, the Aviation Engineering Department at Tishk International University hosted an informational event for prospective students, offering comprehensive insights into the aviation engineering program and university facilities. The event began with a warm welcome from the aviation department staff, followed by an opening presentation by Dr. Soorkeu A. Atrooshi, the Department Head, who provided an overview of the program and curriculum details.
