Vaasa University, Finland

On February 27th, Professor Yazan participated in a Staff Mobility Exchange at the University of Vaasa in Finland. This exchange program, funded by Erasmus, provided staff with an opportunity to learn new skills, perspectives, and approaches by working with colleagues in engineering and aviation engineering departments.

During this visit, Professor Yazan shared his ideas, methods, and practices with the Faculty of Engineering at Vaasa University and discussed ways to improve the Aviation Department at Tishk International University. This mobility exchange program exposed him to new ideas, technologies, and procedures, thereby enhancing his expertise. It also provided an opportunity to learn about various teaching methodologies, assessment techniques, and research methodologies, enhancing his professional competencies.

Mobility exchange programs can be a valuable tool for universities to enhance staff development, promote cross-functional collaboration, and improve teaching and research quality. It can also help in the internationalization efforts of universities by promoting cultural exchange and cooperation with other institutions. We hope that programs like this will inspire and motivate our students and staff to study harder, seek out further education in the future, and partake in future exchange programs.

We appreciate Professor Yazan’s dedication and hard work in representing Tishk International University and gaining recognition for our university.
