The Aviation Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) held its first community engagement activity for the 2026/2027 academic year on September 13, 2026. The event was preceded by an intensive, department-sponsored social media campaign that ran for one week to raise awareness and encourage community participation.
The activity began with an informal, friendly, and interactive dialogue with the audience, followed by a presentation and talk highlighting Aviation Engineering as a dynamic discipline connected to many fields, including engineering, safety, management, and aviation operations.
The department’s academic staff actively engaged with the audience, answered questions, and encouraged an inclusive discussion about aviation as a global industry that continues to grow and expand beyond borders. The event also provided an opportunity to introduce the field of Aviation Engineering and strengthen the connection between Tishk International University and the local community.
