About Aviation

The Aviation Engineering Department offers a four-year comprehensive Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program, designed for high school graduates. This program aims to equip students with the essential skills and in-depth knowledge required for a successful career in the aviation industry. It provides a strong academic foundation in aviation engineering, coupled with practical training to meet the current and future demands of the sector. The curriculum is tailored to align with industry needs and student aspirations, preparing graduates for diverse opportunities in the field of aviation engineering..

Mission & Vision

The Mission of the Aviation Engineering B.Sc. degree program is to prepare students for employment in the field of aviation engineering by educating them the fundamental knowledge and techniques to conduct the daily nitty-gritty routine service, be able to perform tests for troubleshooting, and professionally use latest instrumentation equipment in aviation.

Objectives

  • Graduates will be competent in the domain of Aviation Engineering.
  • Graduates will be capable to assess safety issues implementing, both, national and international regulatory bodies standard.
  • Graduates will be vigilant about security issues and regulation that govern the domain of aviation.
  • Graduates will have the ability to conduct necessary tests, measurements and analyses to land on right ethical decisions.
  • Graduates will have the ability to be self-motivated for future progress and development.

Program Learning Outcome

By the end of the four-year program of Aviation Engineering, the students should be able to:
  1. Apply math, physics and engineering skills to solve problems related to aviation engineering .
  2. Use the principles of aerodynamics, propulsion and material for aircraft design, system improvement and aircraft maintenance.
  3. Apply the principles of operation of control in aircraft avionics systems.
  4. Analyze the structure and the material of the aircraft.
  5. Identify with the safety regulations and standards for aviation at national and international level.
  6. Work with the national and international aviation regulations, standards and certification processes.
  7. Utilize simulation tools and modeling to analyze and optimize the performance of systems
  8. Collaborate effectively with professionals from other disciplines within the aviation industry.
  9. Demonstrate leadership with ethical conduct in aviation
  10. . Identify with marketing skills and business management .
  11. Apply sustainability in aviation from environmental, social and economic aspects.
  12. Identify sustainable aviation practices, regulatory frameworks and emerging technologies.
