The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Tishk International University is seeking a highly motivated and high-achieving graduate to join the department as a Research Assistant.
The position is intended for a graduate who is interested in working in a research-oriented academic environment while supporting laboratory activities, practical teaching, student projects, and research activities.
The ideal candidate should have graduated within the last three years and be among the top-ranked students or highest-achieving graduates of their class. Candidates should also have hands-on experience in designing and building Mechatronics projects, along with strong practical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Applicants should have experience with most of the following technical areas and tools:
- Robotics simulation tools, particularly ROS (Robot Operating System)
- SolidWorks
- PLC programming and industrial automation
- Python programming
A strong interest in research, innovation, robotics, automation, and advanced Mechatronics systems is highly desirable. The successful candidate should also be highly motivated to contribute to an academic environment focused on practical learning and research.
The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute to laboratory instruction, student projects, research activities, and practical teaching within the Department of Mechatronics Engineering.
