On Sunday, February the 25th, the Architectural Department at Tishk International University prepared a Scientific trip to Arjaan Hotel– Erbil,
for the Third year students’ design project, The visit was Supervised by the design studio academics: Mr. Azad Ahmed, Mr. Carol Kako, and Miss. Shaymaa Jalil.

The students and academics arrived at Arjaan Hotel at 1:00 am, the trip was aiming to teach students the procedures of design and one of the stages is analyzing similar examples.
The group was shown around the place and was told what and how things are done. The students were asked to take notes and take photos for documentation. The students looked at the different spaces in the Hotel and asked many questions to the staff.
After showing around the building, the academics didn’t leave any unanswered questions in the minds of the students in a quick Q&A before heading back to the University at 4.00 pm.
The three-hour visit was very informative and the students learned a lot about their next design project.
