On Wednesday 15th July 2019 at 10: 00 AM, Dr. Khalid Wooral, Dean of Engineering Faculty of TIU, had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Jasna Hivziefendic, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, IBU, and the Head of Information Technology Department, Dr. Zerina Masetic. The purpose of the meeting was to improve the collaboration between TIU and IBU, in terms of research, student exchange and staff. Dr Kahlid attended the presentation about IBU activities after discussing TIU endeavors.
Dr Khalid Wooral introduced the activities at TIU, mentioning the several events organized at the University, including the International Engineering Conference (IEC2020), International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design (ICAD2021), and National Innovation Competition in Engineering (NICE). During this engagement, a discussion was made regarding the improvement of student exchange programs between TIU and IBU in the upcoming academic year.
Dr. Khalid Wooral also met the rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak, to discuss the Bologna process, which is followed by TIU in its education process and has been applied in the University since its establishment. The efforts of TIU management have enabled the University’s students to study across the world and be internationally accepted. The discussions further stressed the importance of collaboration improvement and covered many significant educational aspects. The meeting was conducted with sincere feelings in a hospitable environment, and several plans for future improvement were considered.
