On December 15, 2019, the Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Department, Tishk International University (TIU) organized the workshop under the title \u201d Competency based curriculum\u201d. The main presenter is Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaleel Hassan Younis<\/strong><\/em> who is currently Assistant Professor at Erbil Polytechnic University<\/a>, Erbil Technology Institute Department of Road Construction, Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the workshop was a curriculum should be designed based on competences, and provide skills that are important for students in order to get a job after graduation, all the courses, learning outcomes and assessment methods should be in a way that help the student to learn, act, and perform, not just to memorize or have an idea were discussed.<\/p>\n
