Our Department arranged in collaboration the seminar about GNSS positioning with Geomatics department of the Engineering College of Salahaddin University, the seminar was presented by Rojgar Qarani “Assistant lecturer at with Geomatics department of the engineering college of Salahaddin university” at Thursday 10th of May 2018. The seminar was about Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), it’s operating system and it’s application in the field of surveying and geomatics, for determination of 3D coordinates on the earth surface. Determination of the location of man-made of natural features are the basics of preparation of plans and map of a different type used for design purpose as well as for construction.
The students were admired about this technology and they hope, they will apply it in their future tasks.
