Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees at TIU and Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President of TIU, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Safwan Mawlood, Vice-Dean of the Engineering Faculty, several engineering faculty staff members and heads of departments also took part in the ceremony. The newly established laboratories include:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Petroleum Drilling Engineering Laboratory, whereby eleven different testing devices for petroleum drilling engineering tests are provided. These devices are designed to enhance the understanding of the theoretical sessions of drilling engineering topics and give students a better understanding of oil wells drilling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Reservoir Engineering Laboratory, whereby thirteen different testing devices were provided for the purpose of performing laboratory tests, which will enhance and deepen the comprehension and understanding of the topic of reservoir engineering for the petroleum &amp; mining engineering students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Mining Engineering Laboratory, whereby fourteen different testing devices were provided to run specialised laboratory tests related to the subjects of mining engineering, rock mechanics and mineral processing engineering. These laboratory tests will raise the level of understanding of the mining engineering core subjects in the minds of our students.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-slider-sc\"><div
