Memorandum of Agreement between TIU and Iraq Surveying Company
The Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Department signed a Memorandum of Agreement between Tishk International University (TIU) and Iraq Surveying Company. The agreement was signed under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Shamal Fatah Ahmed.
Iraq Surveying Company is an authorized dealer of Kolida, Geomax Positioning (part of the Hexagon), DJI, and SPX (Radio Detection), some of the biggest Surveying Engineering Companies in the world.
The MoA consists of several responsibilities between TIU and Iraq Surveying Company including workshops, training, conferences, and seminars that serve students, staff, the company, and the university. Further to this, the company has offered good discounts to the university in purchasing and establishing a new survey lab.
The period of this agreement officially begins on March 9th, 2022 and ends on March 9th, 2024. TIU hopes that its staff and students seize this opportunity and greatly benefit from the signed Memorandum of Agreement.
