IEC2020 Conference Papers Published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library indexed by Scopus
It is often believed that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Indeed, today, all committee members of the 6th International Engineering Conference (IEC-2020) are celebrating a journey of commitment to professionalism and dedication to the pursuit of excellence. Finally, our journey culminated into unprecedented success with the final publication of the conference proceedings (23rd June 2020), accepted by one of the largest and most prestigious digital libraries in the academic world: IEEE Xplore. We wholeheartedly congratulate everyone who was involved in this accomplishment, from the organizers, partners, and sponsors, down to the authors who made valuable academic contributions.
The IEC2020 Conference was held on the 26th-27th February 2020 and was organized by the Faculty of Engineering of Tishk International University and Erbil Polytechnic University, in collaboration with technical partners, IEEE and IEEE Iraq Section. The main objective of the conference was to establish a significant platform for the dissemination of research findings, to enable scholars to present their ideas and work to the world and facilitate the exchange and discussion of those ideas with their counterparts on the developments in emerging fields and research frontiers in engineering.
The success of IEC2020 is attributed to the conception, organization and exceptional hosting and hospitality, portraying outstanding teamwork of highly experienced professionals, and proving what such coordination and cooperation can accomplish in a short period of time. It also indicates the unrelenting effort of Tishk International University to propel and project academic excellence to a world class level and find its rightful place among the premium universities across the globe. This will undoubtedly, not only benefit the institution, but also the Kurdistan Region entirely, and its people, as it will be acknowledged and renowned for their academic excellence and achievements. We wish for your continuous support and solicit your active participation in our future conferences so as to make the most of such international events.
On behalf of all IEC-2020 participants, I wish to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Dean of Faculty of Engineering for their valuable support and great effort. Also, special thanks to the Heads of Civil and Computer Engineering for their passion and encouragement towards our success. I equally appreciate and recognize the moral, logistics and financial support we received from Tishk International University and our partners.
