The workshop training provided a very streamlined learning experience for the participants, where they were taught in the arts of Robotics coding and circuit design, AI programming, 3D modelling &amp; printing.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"24\" data-lineheight=\"33.6px\"><span class=\"selected\">Course Highlights<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">The training introduced students to the foundational principles of mechatronics and robotics, emphasizing the integration of mechanics, electronics, and programming. Key topics covered included:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">Introduction to Mechatronics:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">\u00a0Its fundamental role and applications at TIU.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">Robotics Fundamentals:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">\u00a0The basic principles of robotics and their industrial applications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">Key Components:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">\u00a0An overview of essential components such as sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">Microcontroller Applications:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">\u00a0Practical, hands-on experience using Arduino.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">3D Design with CAD Software:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> Designing robotic prototypes using CAD tools (Solidwork).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">3D Printing:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">\u00a0The core principles and applications of additive manufacturing in prototyping.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"24\" data-lineheight=\"33.6px\"><span class=\"selected\">Course Outcomes<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">By the end of the program, students successfully:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"selected\">Gained a solid conceptual and practical understanding of <em>mechatronics<\/em> and <em>robotics<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"selected\">Acquired hands-on skills in <em>assembling<\/em> and <em>programming<\/em> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">simple<\/span> robotic systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"selected\">Learned to design and prototype components using CAD tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"selected\">Gained practical exposure to additive manufacturing (3D printing).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">This initiative proved significant in enhancing the students\u2019 technical knowledge while fostering critical skills like problem-solving, creativity, and innovation.
