{"id":3998,"date":"2019-05-13T08:01:18","date_gmt":"2019-05-13T08:01:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishik.edu.iq\/engineering\/interiordesign\/?p=3998"},"modified":"2021-12-21T07:31:09","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T07:31:09","slug":"nice-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/engineering.tiu.edu.iq\/interiordesign\/nice-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"NICE 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tishk International University held the\u00a0<strong>5th National Innovations Competition in Engineering<\/strong>\u00a0(NICE2019) on May 05, 2019, under the theme of \u201cTargeting Smart Sustainable Innovations.\u201d\u00a0<strong>Dr Idris Hadi Salih<\/strong>,\u00a0<em>Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University<\/em>, Deans, and Heads of Departments of the universities that participated honoured the Hosts with their presence.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NICE (National Innovations Competition in Engineering) is a groundbreaking Engineering competition open to higher education students in Kurdistan Region. Project competition was held in seven different categories: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Surveying and Geomatics, Interior Design Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Petroleum and Mining Engineering, and Mechatronic Engineering.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The competition aims to explore the ability of the students and provide a platform for the students to present their projects to the markets and exchange ideas on the developments in the field of engineering.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More than 140 projects were presented by 400 students. More than 70 precious jury members evaluated these projects and selected the winners. The organization provided students with a chance to establish communication with each other to discuss their current work as well as to be encouraged in future projects.
