Tishk International University has held\u00a03rd International Spring Festival of Language, Culture, and Science<\/strong>\u00a0on April 25, 2018, with the participant of general consulates, representatives of the ministry of higher educations and all students of Tishk International University.<\/p>\n

The festival started at 10:00 AM, in the morning with the opening speech by\u00a0Dr. Idris Hadi Salih<\/strong>,\u00a0Head of Board of Trustees<\/em>. He mentioned the importance of such social and cultural activities as Tishk International University has always been worked on coexistence and gathered different culture and language, as well as this festival, is a clear example of that. Afterwards, the general consulate of\u00a0Palestine<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0gave a speech and thanked Tishk International University for such great chance.<\/p>\n

Then they cut the ribbon and had a tour around the cultural and scientific stands. Later on, Students of Tishk International University has participated in a Talent Show which was a great chance to show their talents on stage with some other activities such as traditional games, and their performance was great in the live concert which was incorporation with our club instructors.<\/p>\n

We as Interior Design Engineering department created a real mode of an interior room by using recycled material, the project made by our students and designed- supervised by our staff, under the supervision of the head of the department. the project took attention of the visitors and it was an iconic message to the visitors to think about recycling projects and use a recycled\u00a0material in their life. Our students also were participated in playing music on the day of the festival<\/p>\n

The Festival had scientific stands from 20 academic departments. There was a Kurdish song by students with folklore. Kurdish and kobary dance by the Ashurian students were also performed in the festival. The tent stands of the festival were from the following countries and cultures: France, Egypt, Germany, Japan, Turkey, South Korea, India, United Arab Emirates, Russia, United Kingdom, America, Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, and Assyrians.<\/p>\n

Using their tents, all participants had had the chance to get information of 23 different cultures of the world and met their languages, food, clothes and their country values. The festival had prominent guests; Dr. Jamal Kamal Supervisor of Private Universities in Kurdistan, Mr. Ghafoor Khoshnaw CEO of Khoshnaw Group, Furthermore, the festival hosted, general consulates in Erbil such as Philistine, Romania, Jordan, Kuwait, Japan, India, UK.<\/p>\n

Tishk International University is so grateful to the organizing committee of this spectacular festival, particularly to the Dean of Students and a special thanks for our sponsors (MASS Group (Gold Sponsor, KAR Group, and Nasspay Company were Bronze Sponsor), and our students for their remarkable effort in this successful event. We aim to make positive change.<\/p>\n
