{"id":3376,"date":"2019-09-16T12:13:24","date_gmt":"2019-09-16T09:13:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishik.edu.iq\/engineering\/computer\/?p=3376"},"modified":"2019-11-15T21:56:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-15T18:56:32","slug":"get-ready-for-bcc-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/engineering.tiu.edu.iq\/computer\/get-ready-for-bcc-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Get ready for BCC 2020!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Blind Coding Challenge (BCC) will be back in 2020 for its second edition!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In aims of providing a platform for the Computer Engineering department students to improve and demonstrate their problem solving and programming skills, the department will be hosting its 2nd &#8220;Blind Coding Challenge&#8221; coding competition among its undergraduate students in early May.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Blind Coding Challenge is an individual and fun challenge which is targeting the students from Computer Engineering and IT department of all grades.<br \/>\nEach participant will be given four programming problems of varied difficulties to solve with their monitors turned off, hence the name of the competition, without a compiler and within a limited time frame of 30 minutes for each problem. These programming problems can be solved by using either (Java or C++) programming languages. Careful analysis and application of algorithms taught in undergraduate studies can aid the students in solving these problems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In BCC, our contestants will have a duration of 2 hours to solve 4 programming problems (in either C++ or Java), where each problem should be solved within 30 minutes only.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Winners will be decided upon certain judging criteria.
