A Warm Welcome at TIU for the Collaborators from Bauhaus University of Weimar<\/h4>\n

Tishk International University (TIU) received guests from Bauhaus University of Weimar in a welcome event on October 24th, 2023. The delegation, led by Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Abrahamczyk, Project Manager, Peshaw Luqman Hassan, M.Sc. and Baban Bapir, M.Sc. visited TIU as part of the collaborative initiative on the funded project, \u201cMultiscale Consequence Studies for Hazard Impact on Structures in Iraq,\u201d funded by DAAD.<\/p>\n

The welcoming committee included Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Jwan Jalal; Assist. Prof. Dr. Najmadeen M. Saeed, Project Coordinator, Dr. Barham Haidar, Head of the Civil Engineering Department; and Baban Jamal. The warm reception set the stage for productive discussions and collaboration on the international level.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Chairman Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi offered a brief introduction about Tishk International University, expressing the institution\u2019s enthusiasm to support the project and extend cooperation. He officially extended an invitation to Prof. Lars to invite the President of Bauhaus University of Weimar to further strengthen collaboration further. In response, Prof. Lars provided insights into his university and shared an overview of the project, fostering an environment of mutual understanding and partnership.<\/p>\n

This welcome event marked a significant step in enhancing collaboration between the two institutions, highlighting the potential for future endeavors and knowledge exchange.<\/p>\n
