Scientific Trip of 2nd Grade Students to \u0130beria Ready-Mix Concrete Company<\/h4>\n

On May 16th, 2023, the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University, organized a scientific trip for 2nd grade students to \u0130beria Ready-Mix Concrete Company located in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Engineer Mohammed Nadir, warmly welcomed the students and provided them with valuable insights into the company’s work and operations.<\/p>\n

The students, accompanied by their professors, were thrilled to visit \u0130beria Ready-Mix Concrete Company, known for its expertise in producing high-quality concrete for a variety of construction projects.\u00a0During the trip, Engineer Nadir acted as the students’ guide, leading them through the different sections of the facility and shedding light on the intricacies of concrete production. With his extensive knowledge and experience in the field, he captivated the students’ attention, making complex concepts easily understandable. Throughout the visit, Engineer Nadir explained the significance of raw material selection and the precise measurements required for producing consistent and durable concrete. He introduced the students to the company’s advanced mixing equipment and demonstrated how various additives and admixtures are incorporated to enhance the concrete’s performance under different conditions. Engineer Nadir emphasized the importance of quality control in every step of the production process. He discussed the rigorous testing procedures employed by \u0130beria Ready-Mix Concrete Company to ensure that their products meet or exceed industry standards.<\/p>\n

The students were given opportunities to actively engage with the material and ask questions, answered by Engineer Nadir, who encouraged the discussions, fostering an environment of curiosity and knowledge-sharing. His passion for the subject and commitment to imparting knowledge inspired the students to delve deeper into the world of concrete engineering.<\/p>\n

Expressing his gratitude, one student, Zaid Hussain, shared, “We are incredibly fortunate to have had Engineer Mohammed Nadir as our guide during this trip. His expertise and passion for concrete engineering have made this experience truly unforgettable. We have gained invaluable knowledge that will undoubtedly shape our future careers as civil engineers.”<\/p>\n
