The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University recently hosted a Marshmallow Competition for second and third-grade students on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022. The competition provided an opportunity for students to use their creativity and problem-solving skills to construct structures out of marshmallows and spaghettis.<\/p>\n

The students worked in teams to design and build structures using only marshmallows and spaghettis. The structures were judged on a variety of criteria, including creativity, stability, and height.<\/p>\n

The competition was highly successful, and the students had a great time working together to create their designs. The event was also an opportunity for students to learn about the importance of teamwork and collaboration in the field of civil engineering.<\/p>\n

The department head, who was present at the event, emphasized the importance of fostering creativity and innovation in the field of engineering. He also noted that events like the Marshmallow Competition provide a fun and engaging way for students to develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, which are essential for success in any engineering field.<\/p>\n

The Civil Engineering Department plans to hold similar events in the future to continue to engage students and encourage their creativity and problem-solving skills.
