Civil engineering department of TIU, on 6th<\/sup> October 2022 has organized a workshop under the title \u201cOn Lab Resting and Reporting; Compressive strength of concrete and geotechnical issues\u201d <\/strong>which was presenting roadmaps in achieving testing of concrete compressive strength and geotechnical issues in response to requests from the construction projects on achieve the goals of our civil engineering dept in the preparation of such service that anticipate the request of the various construction firms, and building the expertise in structural, material, and geotechnical testing.<\/p>\n

14:00-14:05 Dr. Barham Haydar opening speech<\/p>\n

14:05-14:45 Prof. Dr. Bayan Salim: Testing and reporting of compressive strength of concrete<\/p>\n

14:45-15:00 coffee break<\/p>\n

15:00-15:30 Dr. Yousif Abdullah; Limitations and precautions about some Geotechnical tests of engineering fill materials.<\/p>\n

15:30-15:40 Mr. Abdullah Hassan; Digital Management<\/p>\n

Overall, the workshop is the approval of the above-mentioned roadmap of testing and reporting to the construction firms. The civil engineering department in TIU, may request the final approval from the engineering faculty, and the Rectorate of TIU.<\/p>\n
