VISIT TO MU & NTU<\/h4>\n

On November 10th, 2022, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Barham Haidar and Prof. Dr. Bayan Salim paid a visit to the University of Mosul<\/a> and the Northern Technical University<\/a> (NTU) in Mosul city. The visit aimed to confirm and revive the MoU between Tishk International University<\/a> and MU, and NTU for scientific cooperation.<\/p>\n

The President of Mosul University, Professor Dr. Kusay Kamal Al-Din, warmly welcomed our delegation, who requested research cooperation on structural assessment and rehabilitation of some of the university\u2019s war-damaged multistory buildings. The President agreed and suggested the agreement be based on the regulation of the Iraqi MHE. Endowments from TIU were presented to the President, Prof. Dr. Kusay, which were gratefully received.<\/p>\n

The TIU delegation then paid a visit to the NTU in Mosul city and was warmly received by the President of NTU, Prof. Dr. Mrs. Alyaa Al Attar. The aspects of scientific cooperation between TIU and NTU were discussed during the meeting, and some gesture gifts were exchanged with Prof. Al Attar. Plans for forthcoming meetings were also mentioned during the visit.<\/p>\n
