{"id":1300,"date":"2016-09-27T06:15:49","date_gmt":"2016-09-27T06:15:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishik.edu.iq\/engineering\/civil\/?page_id=1300"},"modified":"2023-02-01T06:54:37","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T06:54:37","slug":"future-perspective","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/engineering.tiu.edu.iq\/civil\/future-perspective\/","title":{"rendered":"Future Perspective"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 id=\"Future_Perspective\" class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"24\" data-lineheight=\"33.6px\">Future Perspective<\/h3>\n<p class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"15\" data-lineheight=\"25.05px\">The continuous improvement and development of the teaching process of structural engineering, materials of construction, geotechnical engineering, construction management, highway engineering and environmental engineering, through:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Continuous review and development of academic plans to achieve market needs.<\/li>\n<li>Work to increase qualified faculty members and technicians.<\/li>\n<li>Continue to develop field training in the college laboratories, computer center and in construction sites.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the application of computers on civil engineering and to involve computerization of the engineering fields in the civil engineering department curricula.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"\" data-fontsize=\"15\" data-lineheight=\"25.05px\">Preparing the ground for opening Master program in the dept. by acquiring<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>High qualified academic staff.<\/li>\n<li>Laboratories<\/li>\n<li>Library<\/li>\n<li>Computer center<\/li>\n<li>Modern classes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"\" data-fontsize=\"15\" data-lineheight=\"25.05px\">Improving scientific research by:<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Cooperation and coordination with local and foreign institutions to provide financial support for civil engineering research, and to promote long-term exchange of knowledge with them.<\/li>\n<li>Providing financial material support from the University\u2019s research center.<\/li>\n<li>Activating the role of graduate students and cooperation in scientific research.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the publication of results in journals, symposiums and various workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage the academic staff to participate in research work in national and international conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Continue in making our own international conferences which was started successfully with Tishk International IEC2014 and Tishk International IEC2016.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"\" data-fontsize=\"15\" data-lineheight=\"25.05px\">Engagement in the local community through:<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Strengthening links with colleges and institutes inside or outside the university.<\/li>\n<li>Providing special attention to college graduates and help finding jobs through the career office of our university<\/li>\n<li>Increasing participation in national councils and committees.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating and interacting with construction firms and cooperate for training students and facilitating research work if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Future Perspective The continuous improvement and development of the teaching process of structural engineering, materials of construction, geotechnical engineering, construction management, highway engineering and environmental engineering, through: Continuous review and development of academic plans to achieve market needs.
