Internal Seminar: Water Resource Problem in Iraq The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University periodically organizes internal seminars regarding the trending topics related to the department. On November 18th, 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thamir Mohammed Ahmed presented a seminar entitled ‘Water Resource Problem in Iraq’, highlighting the water scarcity that Iraq is currently facing, although it is ranked as a rich country in water resources. The seminar identified the problem of why the supply rates are almost lower than the growth of demand rate and further discussed proposed solutions to the issues presented.
