It was opened by\u00a0the Head of Board of Trustees,\u00a0<i>Dr. <\/i><i><strong>Idris Hadi<\/strong>, <\/i>the Dean of Engineering Faculty,\u00a0<i>Dr.<strong> Halit Vural<\/strong><\/i>\u00a0and the Head of Architecture Department,\u00a0<i>Ms. <strong>Soma\u00a0Manmi<\/strong><\/i><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Department of Architecture\u00a0had its own pavilion to present its part at the science fair. The\u00a0architectural pavilion showcased the works of its students that had been working on the showcased works for a duration of 10 days.<\/p>\n<p>The plan for the Department of Architecture\u00a0section within the fair was to involve all the students of the department to take part in to showcasing their works and cooperation as a team. So smaller groups of students were selected to volunteer and work for the pavilion&#8217;s preparation ten days before the big day.<\/p>\n<div>The architectural section within the fair was headed and supervised by\u00a0the research assistant,<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/engineering.tiu.edu.iq\/architecture\/resume\/delovan-delawer\/\">\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><i><strong>Delovan Delawer<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/i>The product of the department was showcasing two huge artistic panoramas of<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong> Erbil sk<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>yline<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>that was done by the students of the third and fourth year which\u00a0was supervised by\u00a0<i>Ms. <strong>Mardin Faisal<\/strong>,<\/i>\u00a0a maquette model of the ancient citadel of Erbil that was done\u00a0by the second year students and supervised by\u00a0<i>Mr. <strong>Younus Ali<\/strong> and\u00a0<\/i><i>Mr. <strong>Abdulrazaq Zamil<\/strong><\/i>, and also an architectural quiz model that was prepared by the first year students that was supervised by\u00a0<i>Mrs.<strong> Sanar Sardar<\/strong><\/i>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The architectural pavilion stood out among the other pavilions in IU festival and impressed the visitors as they toured around the Festival&#8217;s distinct sections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DA 11 &#8211; Language, Culture and Science, Festival 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":119,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"wds_primary_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[2,7,8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2999","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news-and-alerts","category-scientific-events","category-social-events"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
