The aim of the conference was to disseminate research findings and provide a platform for scholars to debate and exchange ideas on the developments in the field of engineering. The conference proceedings will be indexed by Google Scholar Databases and each paper will have DOI number. Furthermore, the conference provides our graduate students a chance to establish communication with experienced researchers in order to discuss their current work as well as to be engaged in future research topics, and new opportunities.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: xx-small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><i>Dr.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><i>Hans J. Hoyer<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0was one of the keynote speakers in the conference<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">. He presented a seminar to the students of the Engineering Faculty that was<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0titled as\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>\u201cContemporary Approaches to Engineering Education in Developing Countries\u201d<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"> that was\u00a0organized in collaboration with IFEES (International Federation of Engineering Education Societies) and GEDC (The Global Engineering Deans Council),\u00a0which were both represented by\u00a0Dr. Hans J. Hoyer\u00a0as a\u00a0Secretary General of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><i>IFEES<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">, and an\u00a0Executive Secretary of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><i>GEDC<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Dr.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Hans J. Hoyer,<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">during his seminar, encouraged the public relations of\u00a0universities in general, and the deans of engineering\u00a0colleges from different universities to\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">always<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0share expertise and programs together,\u00a0and the importance of these relations to both Kurdistan, as a developing region on one hand, and IFEES and GEDC\u00a0on the other hand, as it would grow internationally with its branches in different countries and grow their impact in the field.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Dr.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0Hoyer ended his seminar by<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0making sure to inform the students<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0that he would always reply each\u00a0email he receives, and how he should be\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">contacted if any of the students neede<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">d any help or had any questions.<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><strong>DA5 &#8211; Hans J.
