Social Community Projects and Clubs Introduction
On October 9th, Tishk International University held social community projects and clubs introduction for the students. The aim was to introduce the students and staff to the clubs and social community projects managed and implemented by each department at the university. During this introductory event, a food fundraising was organised to collect money for charity.
The Architectural Engineering Department’s social community project is titled Climate Change Awareness, which targets suburban schools and aims to raise awareness amongst students to take care of our climate and to teach the next generation to protect planet Earth. The project also intends to provide stationery to school children to assist their learning during this school year. Last year, numerous students were involved, and this year many more signed up as volunteers in this project.
