Performance of Working Drawing Among Universities and Consultant Offices in Iraq and Netherlands

On the 15th of December 2022, the Architectural Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organized an International Workshop titled Performance of Working Drawing Among Universities and Consultant Offices in Iraq and the Netherlands. The event, featuring distinguished speakers Mr. Shad Sherzad from TIU and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abbas from Avans University in the Netherlands, was met with significant success.

At the beginning of the workshop, the audience was treated to a showcase of outstanding talents and instructional approaches in working drawing at TIU. Senior student projects were prominently displayed, highlighting the exceptional level of expertise and skill of the institution’s learners.

Throughout the course of the workshop, various critical points were thoroughly expounded, including key considerations for engineering students, instructors, workers, and contractors. These insightful discussions provided attendees with a deeper understanding of the multidisciplinary nature of working drawing, as well as its vital role in the successful completion of engineering projects.

At the end, the speakers delved into the significance of drawing in engineering offices both within Iraq and foreign countries, providing valuable insights into the nuanced requirements and best practices for execution work. Participants had gained a wealth of knowledge, leaving them better equipped to tackle the challenges and opportunities within the field of working drawing.
